Diabetes is one of the most pressing noncommunicable diseases that affects millions of Filipinos. The successful control of diabetes depends on the ability of the patients to control the disease and for the healthcare providers to provide adequate support to the patients. A person's attitude toward diabetes is crucial. The attitude behavior model states that there are two main factors that influence a patient's desire to behave in a particular way. One of these factors is the patient's attitude toward the behavior in question. Using the Diabetes Attitude Scale (DAS-3), this paper looked at the Diabetes-Related Attitude among patients and healthcare providers.
