Dr. Amirhossein Niknejad is a Doctor of Pharmacy and research assistant at Faculty of Pharmacy, Tehran Medical Sciences, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. His research focuses on pharmacology, drug repurposing, and the development of novel therapeutic approaches for metabolic disorders, kidney injury, and neuroprotection. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed articles and systematic reviews, with a particular interest in anti-diabetic drugs, nutraceuticals, and their effects on various diseases. Dr. Niknejad is passionate about bridging experimental pharmacology with clinical applications and actively collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to translate laboratory findings into impactful therapeutic strategies.
