Dr. Jasmin Barikan is a junior medical doctor who graduated from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Since her first year of medical school, she has shown a strong interest in research, particularly in diabetes and its impact on pregnancy and infant outcomes. She will soon begin her PhD studies, with a focus on lifestyle-related factors influencing maternal and child metabolic health. Dr. Barikan is dedicated to combining clinical practice with academic research, aiming to improve long-term outcomes through evidence-based, preventive strategies.
